History

Tara Nikzi opened Therapia Wellness Clinic in 2011 after growing up in Portland and being inspired by the many alternative holistic medicines that she was introduced to here. An acupuncturist herself, she wanted to create a tranquil and beautiful space where patients can come and find relief, support, and a better means to healthy living. Since its small beginnings, Therapia has expanded rapidly into a thriving, multi-specialty clinic that now houses chiropractors, massage therapists, and acupuncturists. These skilled and experienced professionals work together to provide an integrative approach to healing and wellness, providing each patient with comprehensive, individualized care. The design and aesthetic of Therapia’s office also reflects the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, with sustainably harvested old growth wood accents and furniture, as well as local Portland original art. Nestled in a park like setting, Therapia is a unique wellness clinic that celebrates the city and continues its longstanding passion for natural medicine.
